Some of the duties and services provided by our health/nursing team include:
Monitoring the immunizations status of the students and ensuring compliance with State requirements
Vision and hearing screenings per State requirements
Monitoring of contagious illnesses
Developing health plans for students with special health needs
Instructing staff on dealing with student allergies and medical restrictions
Evaluating illnesses and injuries of students
Administering student medication
Medical alert intervention
Providing Family Living education to fifth grade students
Overseeing the mobile dentist program
Overseeing immunization clinic provided by the Health Hero Program
