Norton City Schools Board of Education Names New Superintendent

May 13, 2022(May 13, 2022) – The Norton Board of Education unanimously agreed to offer Bryan Farson the position to serve as the district’s New Superintendent at a special meeting on May 11, 2022.  Farson is currently the Principal at AI Root Middle School, in the Medina school system.

May Student of the Month

Congratulations to Emma Collins for being named Student of the Month for May at Norton High School!  Emma is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and Spanish Club.  She participates in the College Credit Plus program, while also taking AP classes and Spanish IV. Emma is a member of the Women's Soccer Team and is a four-year letter woman. She has played piano for 7 years. Emma is involved in the youth group at Crossroads Community Church and also plays the keyboard for the worship team. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Emma works at the Norton Library. Emma plans to attend Cedarville University to study math and minor in actuarial science. Congratulations Emma!

Career Tech Student of the Month

Congratulations to Caleb Ogg for being named the Career Tech Students of the Month at Norton High School. Caleb participates in the Masonry program here at Norton High School through the Four Cities Compact. To quote Caleb he "enjoys the work ethic and skills learned in the program. Good skills to learn for life." He is a member of the Marching Band and also plays baseball. Caleb volunteers at Northside Church in Wadsworth. He has his own lawn care business and is a janitor at the church. Caleb plans to attend The University of Akron for History Education. Congratulations Caleb!
