Volunteering in Norton City Schools

Become a Volunteer in Norton City Schools!

At Norton City Schools, we believe that community involvement plays a vital role in the success of our students. Volunteering is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, support our schools, and strengthen our community.

Whether you have a few hours or a few days to give, your time and talents can make a real difference. From helping in classrooms to assisting at events, there are many ways to get involved. Volunteering also allows you to build connections with students, staff, and other community members while contributing to a vibrant learning environment.

We welcome parents, family members, and community members to join us in supporting our schools. Your involvement will enrich the educational experience for our students and help them achieve their fullest potential.

If you're interested in volunteering, please contact your student's school for more information on how you can get started. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, brighter future for our students.

Background Checks for Volunteers in Norton City Schools

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, all individuals who volunteer in Norton City Schools are required to undergo a comprehensive background check. This process helps to ensure that we are providing the safest possible learning environment for our students.

To cover the cost associated with conducting these background checks, the district will charge volunteers a fee of $25, which is the actual cost incurred by Norton City Schools. Background checks are valid for five years.

We appreciate the dedication of our volunteers and thank you for your understanding of this necessary procedure.

For more information or assistance with the background check process, please contact the Norton City Schools administration office.
