Hello, Incoming 5th-grade parents!

I'm excited to welcome our incoming 5th-grade class (Class of 2028!) to Norton Middle School!  Due to the circumstances surrounding all of us right now, our orientation will be a little different this year as we are planning an "open house" type of setting where the students will be able to come to the middle school, pick-up and walk their class schedule.  Forms will be picked up and turned in the first day of school.

Here are the details:

-Thursday, August 20 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. students (and parents) can come at any time between these hours.  

-Friday, August  21 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. students (and parents) can come at any time between these hours. 

You will enter through the main entrance where we will meet you and give you your schedule so you can walk around the building and see where your classes will be located.  Masks/facial coverings are required.

- Students will also receive a handout detailing specific information they need to know about the middle school including how lunches work, payment of school fees, etc.

- An orientation video will be posted to the middle school website, students and parents can view that will detail many of these things as well.

The first day of school for 5th grade will be Tuesday, August 26.  During the first week of school, we will conduct an orientation with all students to help them adjust to the new school.
