Parking at the New Norton High School Stadium
We welcome your visit to the new Norton High School stadium! As we open our new stadium, construction of our high school continues. Therefore, please be aware of your parking options for events at the new stadium. For most athletic events, using the Grace Church parking lot should be sufficient. Grace Church is located at 3970 South Cleveland-Massillon Road in Norton, and we appreciate their partnership during this exciting time.
However, parking for home football games will require additional options. All parking options for home football games and the Art in Motion Band Competition (time frames for Art in Motion will be change from those listed here) are listed below:
- Grace Church and Summit County Library parking lots. The Norton Branch of the Summit County Public Library is located directly north of Grace Church, and the same entry will be used to access both parking areas.
- The Digestive Wellness Center is located directly across the street from Grace Church and offers parking for approximately 90 vehicles. Norton Police will direct traffic during these events and offer safe pedestrian passage across Cleveland Massillon Road to the new stadium.
- Norton High School Shuttle. A free shuttle service will be available for fans who park at Norton High School. The pick-up/drop-off point will be at the flag pole in front of Norton High School. Shuttle services will begin at 5:15PM and continue throughout the evening. Fans will be transported on busses and dropped off near the southeast end of the stadium near the baseball field. Fans will then walk to the new entrance of the stadium to purchase tickets and enter. After the game, fans using the shuttle will be picked up at the same location and returned promptly to the Norton High School parking lot. Again, shuttle service will run continuously throughout the evening.
- Handicapped and Elderly Assistance. Those needing handicapped assistance have two options: 1) use the shuttle service from Norton High School, which has the capability to transport wheel-chairs, or 2) several parking spaces near the west end of the Grace Church parking lot will be designated for handicapped visitors. There will also be golf carts available to transport elderly and handicapped fans from the shuttle drop or west end handicapped parking area of Grace Church to the ticket windows at the front of the stadium.
