Morgan participated this past weekend at the Division II State Tournament for Track & Field. Morgan took third place on Friday in the girls' discus with a throw of 140' 10". She returned to the field on Saturday to compete in the shot put and there she took first place with a throw of 43' 7.5". This is Norton High School's first individual state champion in any sport since her father, Brian Hallett, accomplished the same feat in 1998 with a throw of 66' 3". Congratulation to Morgan on being the Division II State Champion! What a great way to begin a high school career as a freshman!
