Art Club & National Honor Society

This past Saturday, September 13th six students from the Norton High School Art Club and National Art Honor Society (NAHS) traveled to downtown Akron to participate in the Miller South School for the Arts Sidewalk Chalk Contest.

The contest was open to students, adults, and groups of all ages and helped to raise awareness for the Miller South School for the Arts. Fueled by donuts and hot cocoa the Norton Art Club and NAHS students bared the chilly autumn morning to create two spectacular pieces of chalk art!

The students were rewarded for the hard work by winning 1st place and 3rd place for the high school division.
