Norton City Schools, through our District Planning
Committee, is proud to announce that Protect the Pride is the
theme for the 2018-2019 school year. Coming off a year, nationally and locally, where students and school
communities took care of each other perhaps more than ever before, we believe
these words work in protecting the good people of Norton City Schools and the
Norton community. Our vision includes
our students looking out for one another in the classroom, during activities,
and during time away from school. Our
vision includes our community members representing Norton City Schools with
great pride and respect for the process of school and also supporting the
students that they watch perform in so many different venues. Finally, our vision includes the school
district connecting more than ever before with our students and our community
and demonstrating strong support for both. Protect the Pride has everything to do with taking care of one another and
being prideful in what we have in this community. You will see and hear the theme throughout
the district, and I wanted to introduce it to you here.
