Staggered Start After Winter Break for Grades 5-12

A few years ago the district put together a plan to build a new stadium and high school. Thanks to the community a bond issue was passed providing the necessary funds. Let me take this opportunity to thank you again for your support.

The stadium has been completed and in use for a little over a year and has created great opportunities for our students to participate.

I am extremely excited to tell you that the new High School is near completion. We are confident that the schedule to move students in to the New High School in January is on track. The plan includes moving our middle school students to the existing high school. The change is necessary so that construction/renovation on the existing middle school can begin to accommodate the start of the 2017-2018 school year. The demolition of Cornerstone and Grill will be scheduled for next fall. To accommodate the move in January all students in grades 5-12 will return from break on January 9th instead of January 4th. All other students will return on January 4th.
