Girl Coders Club Now Open to 7th & 8th Grade Girls!

By 2020 there will be 1.4 million jobs in computing-related fields. Research shows women are on track to fill just 3% of these jobs. Girls in 8th grade have the opportunity to be part of an after-school club to learn more about creative computing.  This club is funded by a Best Buy grant and will include many different resources for coding: Scratch, Girls Who Code, Code.org, etc.

The club starts Tuesday, February 21st and will be held after school until 4:15pm.  Please click here to complete an application and turn it in to the middle school main office.
