6th & 8th Bands at 8:00 pm (students report at 7:30pm)
5th Grade Dress up! White tops and Black Bottoms.
6-8 - Dress black bottoms and T-shirt (Polo handed out)
WELCOME BACK!
We are excited to start a new year of music making. After a great 7th grade year we are looking forward to seeing what this group will accomplish as 8th graders.
REMIND:
"remind" - We are using "remind" as our communication tool this year. Several other teachers are as well, so this should make it easier to be using one app. for this purpose. You can select text or email correspondence. For 7th grade you can text: @7nortband to 81010 OR send an email to

Middle School Band DASHBOARD
Parents, while REMIND is our regular way to communicate, everything we tell the students, hand out to the students, will also be accessible on our DASHBOARD. Fundraisers, calendars, Private Lesson info, etc will all be in one place. Bookmark this, so you always can check what's going on and you won't miss anything. Norton Middle School Dashboard
GOOGLE CLASSROOM:
All students need to join our Google Classroom. The 6th Grade Google Classroom code is: atdjctb
WE WILL NOT BE USING INSTRUMENTS ON THE FIRST DAY. KEEP AT HOME!
Students need to come to class with a writing utensil. Students will need for week two, a three-ring binder (1.5" - 2" works) for their music, worksheets, and band book.

We hope to invite back former students as well as welcome new ones to learn an instrument and join their friends in the band.
